Carl's Jr. flags Australia as priority market in the launch of its drive-thru
The Bansal Group is set to open Queensland's first Carl's Jr. restaurant in Redbank Plains on January 18.
It's the first of the expected 20 Carl’s Jr. restaurants that the group has earmarked for Queensland. This announcement marks the global burger chain’s continued successful expansion in Australia after openings in Bateau Bay.
“Australia is a priority market for our brand and we are thrilled to welcome the Bansal Group into the Carl’s Jr. franchise family,” said Ned Lyerly, president, International at CKE Restaurants. “Their entrepreneurial spirit and passion for our brand will greatly contribute to our success as they develop restaurants throughout Queensland and partner with our existing franchise community to satisfy Australian consumers’ demand for a superior burger experience.”
Bansal Group owner, Vishal Bansal, said the group is honoured to work with Carl’s Jr. to bring their best in class menu items and customer service to Queensland. “Not only is this global burger chain always pushing the envelope when it comes to innovative menu items like their Western Bacon Cheeseburger and Portobello Mushroom Thickburger, but like us, they are also extremely dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and delivering fresh, high quality food. The brand clearly fills a gap in the market for a premium quality burger experience at the price and convenience of fast food.”
The new restaurant in Redbank Plains will be one of the first Carl’s Jr. locations to showcase the brand new interior design elements featuring strong urban and industrial flair.
