Shingle Inn awards top performers

Garden City Franchisee, Claire Lunney, took out the top prize of Franchisee of the Year.

In recognition of the need to evolve, Shingle Inn opted for a conference theme of “Innovate Create” to ensure franchisees and store managers were also challenged to look at the business via a new perspective.

The awards were presented at the conference’s annual Gala Dinner, which Director Andrew Bellchambers says showcases the commitment of winners to the company’s brand.

Shingle Inn Mt Ommaney franchisees, Nicki Nesbitt and April Carnie, were awarded Marketing Champion of the Year.

As the café that has signed up the most customers to Shingle Inn’s loyalty program, the pair is taking up the challenge of being the first café to have 3,000 loyalty club members.

Meanwhile the 2012 Rookie of the Year Award was presented to Peter and Patsy Reddy from Shingle Inn Grand Plaza.

Store Manager of the Year was presented to one of Shingle Inn’s longest serving store managers, Helen Lewis, who has worked for the company for a total of more than 20 years.
