Hungry Jack's names Melbourne International Airside Franchisee of the Year
Hungry Jack’s Melbourne International Airside was awarded Franchisee of the Year at the company’s annual awards night.
The restaurant which is operated by Airport Retail Enterprises took out the top honours at the awards ceremony, hosted at Crown Melbourne, and was one of ten franchise restaurants recognised by Hungry Jack’s for its contribution to operations.
Airport Retail Enterprises’ CEO John Chapman said, "We are thrilled to receive the Hungry Jack’s Franchisee of the Year award. It is a testament to our team’s dedication and I thank them for their hard work. We take pride in providing customers with a great experience every time."
The Hungry Jack’s Franchisee of the Year awards has been running for more than 20 years. Each year, franchised restaurants are assessed on a points matrix to determine a leader across eight categories including: Sales and Traffic, Operational Standards, Speed of Service (food court), Speed of Service (front counter), Speed of Service (drive thru), Training, Customer Feedback and the coveted Franchisee of the Year.
In addition to being Franchisee of the Year, Melbourne International Airside performed well across several categories and was awarded the winner of the Sales and Traffic category and a nominee in the Operational Standards category.
Hungry Jack’s Marketing Manager Rachel Korbel congratulated Airport Retail Enterprises on the well-deserved award for its Melbourne International Airside restaurant.
“Melbourne International Airside has demonstrated operational excellence and Hungry Jack’s is thrilled to recognise its efforts,” said Korbel.
Along with Melbourne International Airside, Roxburgh Park was another standout restaurant on the night receiving five nominations including Sales and Traffic, Speed of Service (drive thru), Customer Feedback, top 10 Franchisee of the Year and taking out the prize for Speed of Service (front counter).
