Muzz Buzz continues to expand and develop their growth strategy, with a plan to open more stores within the rest of the year. QSR Media talked to Muzz Buzz' Executive Chairman, Warren Reynolds, to find out more about what the brand has been up to and their expansion strategy.


Below is a Q&A with Warren Reynolds, Muzz Buzz Executive Chairman. 

QSR Media: What has been happening at Muzz Buzz?

Warren: Muzz Buzz has been continuing to expand with new stores under construction in Perth and Melbourne. The brand continues to expand with new products and the most recently released Muzz Buzz Chocolate Barz.

Our food range will continue to expand in the future and will always be fun and innovative.

QSR Media: How has Muzz Buzz grown in the past year?

Warren: Muzz Buzz continues to develop property and we are always looking for good sites. This is fundamental to our growth strategy and will drive our future.

Property is the most important factor that underpins the business – it’s simple really, no property, no stores.

QSR Media: What are the developments in your expansion strategy?

Warren: The expansion strategy of the business is two-fold:

• Products and service diversifications.
• Vertical integration of the supply chain.

These two elements are fundamental to all business and Muzz Buzz is moving quickly down both paths.

QSR Media: How have sponsorships helped in creating an impact on your brands marketing and promotion?

Warren: Our sponsorship program has been extensive with our Muzz Buzz Dancer Teams for the WA Wildcats and the Adelaide 36ers. In addition to this we have sponsored car racing, motorcycles, aviation and numerous other sports.

The profile gained from the above far exceeds any money spent on standard media. Sponsorship is a natural extension of our lifestyle brand.

QSR Media: Could you tell us more about your coffee and car wash concept?

Warren: Combined sites that include a car wash and a coffee outlet give us exceptional brand presence and an extension to driving consumers. These super sites will dominate local areas with unmistakable branding.

QSR Media: What other developments can we expect from Muzz Buzz this year?

Warren: Muzz Buzz has many fun activities to roll out over the next year – but most importantly is a larger number of stores.
