Get a glimpse of Bucking Bull's latest look
It has a modern twist to it.
Roast & Grill QSR, Bucking Bull, has grown to 33 stores since it was first established in 1999. The brand continues to further its development, announcing the launch of a new and more modern design for their outlets.
The new design will first be unveiled in the opening of their new store at Midland Gate Shopping Centre, in WA.
Below is a Q&A with Stuart Beechen, Managing Director of Aktiv Brands.
QSR Media: What's new at Bucking Bull?
Beechen: At a corporate level, Bucking Bull's parent company Aktiv Limited has seen the appointment of two new Board members, Damian Street and Ralph Edwards to strengthen its corporate governance programme.
At a business level, Bucking Bull is rolling out a new modern and contemporary store design starting with its carvery at the Midland Gate Shopping Centre in Western Australia. This design will gradually extend across all of 33 Bucking Bull stores.
QSR Media: What are your top 3 priorities?
Beechen: Our top three priorities are:
1. Menu development to meet changing consumer expectations.
2. Training programmes to increase the business skills of our Franchise Owners.
3. Implementation of a new intranet system to improve productivity and the delivery of business information.
QSR Media: Where do you see growth?
Beechen: Bucking Bull management is focused on growing sales in its existing franchised stores, together with identifying new store opportunities primarily in Queensland and West Australia where brand recognition is very high.
QSR Media: What are some of the challenges and opportunities in the industry?
Beechen: The QSR industry is constantly changing and Bucking Bull is continuing to adapt to the changing landscape through market research to clearly define its brand positioning. Shopping centres are finally starting to redefine food courts to create a more inviting and friendly environment with the use of softer furnishings and calming décor. This is a strong indicator of the leisure and lifestyle aspects beginning to dominate shopping centre environments.
