Muffin Break to capitalize on untraditional location
Opens first airport location after 25 years.
"This is the first time, in over 25 years Muffin Break has been operating, that the brand has opened in an airport location in Australia," Ange Ritchie, Foodco Marketing Executive told QSR Media.
This allows the brand that everyone sees in shopping centres to be enjoyed by the loyal customers as well as tourists, on their first time to Melbourne or Australia.
"It’s a way to support the strong customer base, so they can rely on having their ‘me-moment’, having the food they love even when travelling or when taking their family for a meal in an often stressful travel time with young kids," she explained.
Ritchie added that the new airport location is a key opportunity for the brand and in fact, Muffine break is about to open a second location at the brand new Terminal T4 in Melbourne Airport in a few months.
"Muffin Break have always looked at a variety of locations such as: transport hubs, hospitals, universities and other non-shopping centre based locations. When a location is suitable and believed to support the business and loyal customers, the brand will pursue it. Locally owned and operated this franchise will have a special individual touch, and every customer will be celebrated."
Meanwhile, Ritchie also noted that Muffin Break has a product range to suit the different times of the day and caters to many dietary requirements such as gluten free, dairy-free, low fat as well as Weight Watchers® endorsed products. "The convenience of the products to be easily held in the hand while on the go is another reason travelers will love Muffin Break at the airport. On top of all that, there is the award winning signature blend coffee that offers another option to what is currently a limited range, for the espresso aficionado’s."
