Go Sushi pops the champagne on its 10 millionth customer

And they just rolled out 2 new flavours.

Pacific Retail Management recently held their Annual Franchisee Conference to strengthen the support of their three brands—Go Sushi, Kick Juice, and Wasabi Warriors. The conference also gave venue to launch Go Sushi’s two new sushi roll flavours, called the “Peri-Peri Chicken” and “Spicy Tuna.”

QSR Media: What were the goals and priorities of the conference?

Pacific Retail: The Annual Franchisee Conference is an important event in our calendar and one we strive to make bigger and better every year. We feel it’s important to continually reinforce to our Franchise Partners know they are a part of a supportive network and feel connected not only to National Support Office but each other as well. It’s a more informal and fun way of meeting fellow Franchise Partners, sharing ideas, learning new skills and improving on the basics. It’s also important for us to celebrate our growing network and award our Franchise Partners for their continuous hard work and success in developing their business and the brand.

QSR Media: What inspired Go Sushi to come up with two new sushi roll flavours?

Pacific Retail: It is important for us to continue to provide our customer with new and exciting products. We recognised a trend in the market towards hotter more spicy flavours reflected by the development of the consumers’ palette. After months of trialing the different combinations across our National network of Go Sushi stores, we recognised our customers wanted peri-peri chicken and spicy tuna which we were more than happy to provide!

QSR Media: How has the reception been for the new sushi roll flavours?

Pacific Retail: From the feedback we received from our Franchise Partners, managers and team members at the conference, we expect they will be one of the most popular choices amongst our customers this winter. These two flavours have also been coupled with a lime wasabi mayo to further differentiate ourselves from others in the market.

QSR Media: Aside from this, what are other recent developments that the brand has made?

Pacific Retail: As Go Sushi continues to grow, we are about to reach Go Sushi’s 10 millionth customer and to celebrate and thank our customers for helping us reach this milestone; we will be awarding one lucky customer with $10,000 When they visit a Go Sushi. It could happen at any time at any one of our stores so you never know, it could be you!
