Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar bags Australia's Tastiest Pizza Chain title

Pizza brands are judged on ease and speed of delivery, size, price, and taste.

Pizza fans performed a taste test of Australia’s leading pizza chains on Channel Nine’s Today Show in an attempt to identify the tastiest slice, with Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar taking the title.

The show settled on three pizza varieties as their yardstick, including margherita, supreme and meat deluxe, and judged the pizza brands on ease and speed of delivery, size, price, and taste.

“Our pizzas are made with proteins that are cooked in-store, fresh produce that is sourced by our franchise partners from local suppliers and surrounding communities and are used to create gourmet flavours which deliver a unique experience unlike any other pizza brand,” QSR general manager Renee North said.

“Our gourmet menu has seen us raise the bar on what consumers can enjoy on a pizza, and awards like these prove that our approach to gourmet pizza resonates with our customers.”
