Poked launches crowdfunding campaign to feed Melbourne frontliners

Every $5 they get is equivalent to one lunch bowl from the chain.

Poked has launched a crowdfunding campaign to feed departments and healthcare teams across Melbourne.

With an aim to donate 10,000 meals, the poké chain said it is working with local suppliers to deliver their bowls for $5 a head. 100% of the donations to this campaign will go towards paying staff wages, and the cost of ingredients.

“There will be no admin, marketing, or overhead costs withdrawn from this fund, they will be covered by Pokéd. Every meal will be made fresh to order by qualified staff who will be employed and paid their full reward rates,” the chain said in a Facebook post.

Customers can contribute to the campaign by going to Poked's GoFundMe page.
