KFC Youth to be the official charity partner for the BBL New Year’s Bash

The foundation supports Aussie youth's mental health and wellbeing.

The KFC Youth Foundation has been announced as the official charity partner for the Big Bash League (BBL) New Year’s Bash.

This is the first time that KFC’s charity foundation has been chosen to be the charity partner of the BBL.

The event happening on 1 January, will see reigning BBL champions, the Brisbane Heat, host the Melbourne Stars.

During half-time, vocalist, rapper and producer Example will perform a 10-minute set as part of the innings break show.

Heat fans can directly donate and contribute to the positive work of the KFC Youth Foundation through the 50/50 game-day charity raffle and Ticketek donations when they purchase a New Year’s Bash ticket.

Tickets for the Heat’s KFC Big Bash League match at the Gabba are on sale now, with the NYB event and 22 December opening home game against the Adelaide Strikers amongst the top 10 selling BBL games so far this season.

As of November 2024, the KFC Youth Foundation has raised almost $11m in funds to help all young Aussies beyond the walls of KFC restaurants.
