Cold Rock 'turns pink' for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The brand aims to raise funding for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).
Every Cold Rock store in Australia will be selling the special, limited edition pink ice cream combo, named “Tickled Pink”, which will be available exclusively for the month of October.
Comprising of a combination of smooth strawberry ice cream, mixed and smashed with decadent Raffaello, raspberries and mini marshmallow Mix Ins, the “Tickled Pink” Combo aims to raise awareness around Breast Cancer Awareness month, as well as much needed funding. Cold Rock will be donating $10,000 from sales of its “Tickled Pink” Combo to BCNA in the month of October.
All 93 Cold Rock stores across the country will also be turning pink as they deck out with BCNA’s Pink Lady logo.
There will also be a donation tin in each Cold Rock store during October for customers wanting to contribute.
Cold Rock CEO, Stan Gordon, said, “Everyone knows someone who has been impacted by breast cancer. With more that 16,000 Australians expected to be diagnosed this year alone, we want to create as much awareness of BCNA as possible, so everyone affected can get the support they need”.
BCNA is the largest national support organisation, working to ensure that those affected with breast cancer can receive the best support, information, treatment and care for their individual needs.
