Hungry Jack's Whopper, Domino's Meatlovers pizza among fast food taking the most time to burn off, says research

Research done by Compare the Market showed just how much exercise would be needed to burn off the calories from popular fast food items, from McDonald's Big Mac to Subway's Chicken Parmigiana Melt.

"Eating out and getting enough exercise can sometimes feel like a dangerous balancing act to avoud calorific catastrophe, but you may be surprised to learn that the most likely suspects are not always the worst offenders," the company said.

"In this chart, we have added up the calories that go into some of the most popular dishes in the Australian food court to see just how much it takes to work them off, whether you’re a natural runner or if yoga is more your thing."
