Oporto rewards locked down Bondi locals with burger giveaway
The chicken chain itself started in Bondi, when its founder Antonio Cerqueira first opened its doors in 1986.
Oporto announced it is giving away free burgers to Bondi locals during the extended New South Wales lockdown period via DoorDash.
To encourage people to stay at home, customers are told to post a picture on Instagram of them being at home using the hashtag #BondiLockdownBurger, tagging their Bondi location and Oporto’s official account.
Oporto will then provide a DoorDash code to receive a free Double Bondi Burger, which features two chicken breast fillets, crisp lettuce, cheese, creamy mayo and Oporto’s Original Chilli sauce.
