KFC announces return of the Tower Burger
This is the fast-food brand’s response to multiple calls for its return.
KFC has announced the return of the Tower Burger after last seen on the menu in 2021.
Aside from the Original Recipe fillet made with Colonel’s 11 Secret Herbs and Spices, the burger is made up of tangy tomato sauce, a classic cheese slice, mayo, fresh lettuce and, finally and crucially, a delicious, crispy hash brown.
According to a KFC spokesperson, the burger was brought back due to overwhelming demand from social media plans and even online petitions.
“We consider a range of factors when deciding which items to bring back to our restaurants, but one of the biggest is simply listening to what our fans want, and they made it very clear they go wild for the Tower Burger. The Tower Burger has remained our most requested burger in Australia for many years and there are social media fan groups and even numerous change.org petitions dedicated to bringing it back, so we are very excited to have returned this legendary burger to menus nationwide again for a limited time,” KFC said.
The new limited menu item will only be available until 10 July.
