Hungry Jack’s amps up store connectivity with TPG Telecom’s 5G services
The deal will see the restaurant connected with a 5G capable SD-WAN solution.
Hungry Jack’s has partnered with TPG Telecom’s to connect the restaurant with a suite of enterprise-grade 5G services.
The new enterprise services include a Fixed Wireless service, which connects business sites with high-speed internet via the TPG Telecom 5G mobile network, and a 5G-backup SD-WAN (software-defined wide area network) service that means business customers can stay connected to critical communication services in the event of fixed-line services being affected by unplanned outages.
TPG Telecom’s 5G SD-WAN solution uses a mix of technologies including its 5G network and its fixed-line network to provide resilient connectivity to cloud applications and business-critical services.
TPG Telecom’s 5G SD-WAN service is based on Fortinet’s Security Fabric platform and provides businesses with the controls they need to protect their network environment, people, customers, and data by delivering enhanced security, Wi-Fi, self-service, and reporting through a single portal.
The large-scale, connectivity rollout for Hungry Jacks was completed by TPG Telecom in just 12 weeks.
The enterprise-ready 5G Fixed Wireless service uses the TPG Telecom 5G mobile network which provides substantial coverage across metropolitan Australia and key population centres with download speeds of up to 250Mbps. The service also comes with unlimited data, meaning customers don’t need to worry about download limits or bill shock.
