Wendys’ new Salted Caramel sales rocketed to over 5,000 litres
And it has just been 3 weeks since it was launched.
Wendys introduction of their new Salted Caramel flavour is proving to be a success. The brand reported that it has become one the their strongest performers in recent years.
“It’s a flavour that has been very popular overseas in recent times and we are thrilled to have produced our own delicious Wendys version. With the perfect balance of salted caramel ripple and sweet toffee pieces, it’s also proving to be a great option for those who find it difficult to decide whether to go sweet or savoury!” said Rob McKay, CEO of Wendys.
The new flavour was launched in the market three weeks ago as a limited time only flavour. McKay added that Salted Caramel is proving to be pretty irresistible, with more than 5,000 litres of the new flavour already sold, and only 500 cartons of it are left nationwide.
The brand also shared that even the staff from their national support office, who usually have access to the full range of products, are lining up at local stores to be able to get their hands on the new flavour.
Wendys also reported that due to its strong demand, a second run of the new flavour will be produced. However, it will still only be available for a limited period of time.
