Want some salad with your McDonald’s Extra Value Meal?

The long wait is over as McDonald’s offers the choice of salad or fries for the same price with your Extra Value Meal at Macca’s.

According to a release, restaurants around the country will offer customers the choice of salad or fries for the same great price when ordering their favourite Extra Value Meal at Macca’s.

Catriona Noble, CEO, McDonald’s Australia, said: “The move to introduce salads to our menu in
2003 certainly broke some ground and we have continued to change and provide more choice for our customers ever since. By making the option of salad or fries part of every Extra Value Meal – one of our most popular menu items – we’re making it even easier for our customers to enjoy a serve of fresh vegetables.”

The announcement also coincides with the start of a national roll out of kilojoule labelling on McDonald’s menu boards. The new displays will provide clear, consistent information at the point of purchase, helping customers to make informed food choices that are right for them.
