SumoSalad teams up with Groupon to launch Peace Juice
SumoSalad partnered with Groupon to create the Peace Juice, a "visually spectacular, overly nutritious refreshment delivering the effects of 19 superfoods", featuring SumoSalad’s ‘Power’ juice from its Cold Pressed Juice range.
According to new research by Groupon, two in three Australians (69 per cent) feel more stressed during the Christmas period than at other times throughout the year. Shopping and spending money on gifts are the most common source of Christmas stress, followed by “Lack of time” (56 per cent), “Packed social calendar” (33 per cent) and “Cooking for everyone at Christmas events” (28 per cent).
The research also found that over half (52 per cent) of Aussies turn to a glass of wine or beer to relax during Christmas.
Groupon Australia CEO, Alistair Venn said, “The popularity of ‘Freakshakes’ got us thinking. Why drink glorified heartstoppers when you can indulge in an equally extravagant beneficial beverage like the Peace Juice? So we partnered with SumoSalad to create this healthy cherry berry blend and show the public they can find their Zen at a time when the world around them just won’t stop.”
SumoSalad nutritionist Georgina Moore said, “The Peace Juice is rich in superfood ingredients that have anti-inflammatory and calming effects on the body – a sure fire way to help people relax this Christmas.”
The Peace Juice contains blueberries, with antioxidants to help improve your immune system as well as Chamomile liquid to help calm the nerves.
Other superfood ingredients include:
Cherry juice - contains anti-inflammatory properties and boosts immunity
Wheat germ - helps boost metabolism and energy levels
Walnuts - a great source of good fats which are nourishing for the heart
Matcha Green Tea powder - to relax the body
Flaxseeds - rich in anti-oxidants and Omega 3 fatty acids
Chia seeds - packed with fibre to support digestive health
