South Dowling Sandwiches introduces new vegan sambo

Its launch of the vegan menu also featured Harvest Gourmet's plant-based schnitzel.

South Dowling Sandwiches launched a plant-based sandwich, Vegan Van Gogh, a vegan sambo that featured Harvest Gourmet's Plant-Based Schnitzel.

The sandwich was named by South Dowling Sandwich's fans – selected through a customer-led Instagram competition.

For one day only on Tuesday, 8 November, Sydneysiders can get a free Vegan Van Gogh to taste the Harvest Gourmet plant-based schnitzel difference .

Apart from the sandiwch, the launch will also introduce Famous Soda Co's giveaway of "better for you" drinks.

The new Vegan Van Gogh showcases "Harvest Gourmet Plant-Based Schnitzel, mushrooms, lentils, capsicum, cucumber, beans, grilled eggplant, grilled zucchini, red cabbage, beetroot, dill pickles, lettuce and rocket – topped with South Dowling’s signature hummus and a specially created homemade amba sauce."

The new and permanent South Dowling menu, provides vegans, flexitarians, and everyone in between, the experience of enjoying a classic chicken schnitzel that is meat-free.
