Krispy Kreme partners with Cadbury to introduce new doughnut range

The new range features the chocolate brand’s Cherry Ripe candies.

Krispy Kreme has launched two new doughnut flavours in collaboration with Cadbury: Cadbury Cherry Ripe Filled and Cadbury Cherry Ripe Dipped which are now available in-store at Krispy Kreme and in 7-Eleven stores.

Dating back to 1924, Cherry Ripe is considered to be one of Australia's oldest chocolate treats.

The Cadbury Cherry Ripe Filled is a shell-shaped doughnut dipped in rich Cadbury Old Gold dark chocolate blend, filled with Cherry Ripe-inspired creme, the doughnut is decorated with a Cadbury Cherry Ripe bite and red truffle icing.

Meanwhile, the Cadbury Cherry Ripe Dipped is a reinvigorated version of Krispy Kreme’s iconic Original Glazed Doughnut. Dipped in a blend of Cadbury Old Gold dark chocolate, the flavour-filled treat is then dunked in a mix of cherry-coconut pieces, and topped with shredded coconut and a choc ganache drizzle.

“Cherry Ripe® is an Aussie classic and a chocolate bar that many cherish. We’re excited to share this collaboration with Krispy Kreme lovers across Australia and are hoping it gives friends, families and fellow fans of Cherry Ripe® a reason to come together and bond over their love for one of Aussie’s top chocolates,” Aimee Cutajar, Head of Marketing at Krispy Kreme ANZ said.
