KFC unveils Shannon Noll Dinner Roll
The fast-food chain also partnered with the Aussie icon to release a song.
KFC has partnered with Aussie icon Shannon Noll to spice things up this footy season with a new menu item and a song.
Together with Shannon, KFC released the new anthem for footy season, ‘Fried Night Footy’ for all the NRL and AFL fans.
The new anthem performed by Shannon Noll and Aussie legends DZ Deathrays is an ode to both Friday Night Footy and KFC’s Fried Night Footy commitments. It will soundtrack KFC footy advertising throughout the season being used across TVCs during both the NRL and AFL, following its launch on 3 March.
In addition to the anthem, KFC will also release a special menu item named after the singer called Shannon Dinner Roll. The Shannon Dinner Roll is a special footy snack that comes as a bite-sized version create with KFC’s Hot & Crispy Boneless, with chili relish, cheese, lettuce, and KFC’s Supercharged Sauced served on a dinner roll.
KFC will be serving up the ‘Shannon Dinner Roll’ on 11 March at Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe for free. It will also be available at a number of NRL and AFL games throughout the season.
The Shannon Dinner Roll will also be part of KFC’s Fried Night Footy Feast which consists of 6 pieces of Original Recipe Chicken, 8 Original Tenders, 6 Nuggets, 1 Regular Popcorn Chicken, 2 Large Chips and Sipping Sauces, and can be ordered in-restaurant or via the KFC App.
