Hungry Jack's pledges 'no added hormones' in all its beef patties

The burger chain launched its Better Beef guarantee which promises “No Added Hormones” in all its beef patties.

Hungry Jack’s Chief Marketing Officer, Scott Baird said the universal move to No Added Hormones in its beef was a further step forward in the company’s commitment to meeting consumer expectations.

“This is an initiative that our customers told us they wanted,” Baird said.

“Customers demand greater transparency in the food they are eating. For Hungry Jack’s this means beef with No Added Hormones that is 100% pure Australian, with no added preservatives or fillers. Unlike our key competitor, all our beef now contains No Added Hormones.”

The move to No Added Hormone beef follows a recent company announcement to transition to cage-free eggs.

"Our staff and franchisees are serious about providing a menu that reflects the changing requirements of customers and delivers a choice they feel good about.”

Hungry Jack’s said that all of its beef is sourced from Australian farms and the beef patties are produced at its own manufacturing facility in Queensland.
