Gelatissimo celebrates 20th birthday with KitKat, birthday cake flavour
Gelatissimo was founded in Sydney in 2002.
As Gelatissimo marks its 20th birthday, the gelato cafe said it will release new limited-edition flavours including caramel gold made with KitKat and chocolate birthday cake.
Caramel Gold includes KitKat Gold flavour that has caramelised white chocolate.
“Being Gelatissimo, the gelato version has been taken to epic new heights, with a creamy, caramelised white chocolate gelato rippled with a thick and gooey caramel sauce before being topped with chunks of the KitKat® Gold,” Gelatissimo said in a media release.
Birthday cake flavour includes dark chocolate gelato with dark chocolate ripple that has chocolate cake pieces, and topped with chocolate chips and chocolate flakes.
“This gelato is all about chocolate obsession,” said Filiz Kaya, Gelatissimo’s Head of Product Innovation.
“The smooth chocolate gelato is layered with a creamy, glossy chocolate ripple and soft, rich cake pieces, which is then all topped with choc chips and melt-in-the-mouth chocolate flakes for a gelato which is as big on texture as it is on taste,” Filiz added.
