Banjo’s Bakery Café launches pie made with spaghetti bolognese
The chain is giving away a year’s worth of free pies to promote the launch.
Banjo’s Bakery Café has launched a pie made with spaghetti bolognese, available starting June 8.
The mashup features angel hair spaghetti tangled with Bolognese sauce cradled in the bakery chain’s signature pie pastry and topped with melted cheese and parsley.
“At Banjo’s we’re always looking to enhance our offering of delicious and freshly baked products, served in a comfortable café environment for our local communities,” Banjo’s chief executive officer Jessica Saxby said in a media release.
“Customers will get a taste of our high-quality ingredients in each bite of their Spag Bol Pie to give an authentic Spaghetti Bolognese experience, just like your Mum or Grandma used to make,” she added.
To celebrate the announcement, Banjo’s will run a campaign in a bid to crown one pie enthusiast with the highly coveted title of “Banjo’s Pie Minister” and a year’s worth of free pies.
Customers who purchase the new Spag Bol Pie in-store, online or via the Banjo’s App before July 19 will be eligible for the promotion. Banjo’s customers who purchase the item in-store will need to enter their receipt number and contact details to enter, whilst those who purchase online or via the App will automatically go into the running.
Banjo’s currently has more than 40 franchise stores across Tasmania, Victoria, News South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.
