Aus Pie Co completes acquisition of Mrs Mac’s Pie Company
The transaction was completed last week.
Aus Pie Company has acquired Mrs Mac’s Pie Company, one of the major pie producers in Australia and New Zealand.
The sale of Mrs Mac’s to Aus Pie was completed last week.
Opened in 1954, Mrs Mac’s “has built a reputation for quality products and practices.” Its products include 100% Australian beef and fresh vegetables. Mrs Mac’s is Australia’s second largest Pie manufacturer and produces hundreds of thousands of pies a day.
Aus Pie Co CEO Bruce Feodoroff said, “The acquisition of Mrs Mac’s ensures that the tradition continues and that Mrs Mac’s has a bright future ahead. We have plans to revitalise the company with further investment and improve the range, without sacrificing the flavour’s Australians and New Zealanders love.”
“Our plans include engagement with all the loyal and experienced staff across the business to improve the quality of our products. We recognize the experience and knowledge that Mr Mac's staff deliver to the business, and quality enhancement is a key deliverable for us,” added Bruce.
Mrs Mac’s products are sold in selected IGA Supermarkets, Coles Supermarkets, Woolworths Supermarkets, stadiums, food service outlets, quality cafes, and convenience stores.
