
Wendys on the lookout for Aussie-inspired ice cream flavours
The winner will become a taste tester for a year.
Wendys launched a new initiative where customers would be given the chance to suggest the best Australian-inspired ice cream flavour.
Those who would like to participate in the competition must submit their ideas via email to [email protected] by 26 January 2014.
The winner of the competition will become the brand’s official taste tester.
Although the position is not a paid job, the taste tester will be able to enjoy and review the full range of new and existing Wendys ice cream flavours for a whole year.
Wendys will be sending a regular supply of ice cream flavours to taste and review, at the same time, will also give the winner the opportunity to visit the brand’s ice cream factory.
“With Australia Day coming up, we’re looking for ice cream flavour ideas that either incorporate an iconic Australian food or that represent something great about Australia.
“The ideas can be whacky or delicious and, you never know, the winning flavour might just make its way into our flavour line-up one day.
“Wendys is all about yum and fun and this competition is an engaging way to reinforce those brand qualities,” added Tanya Demaria, Wendys Marketing Manager.
