KFC joins Big Brother TV series

KFC and Holden are the major partners of the Nine Network’s reality series.

Peter Wiltshire, Group Sales and Marketing Director of Nine Entertainment Co., said, "We experienced unprecedented success in the first half of 2012 with formats such as The Voice and The Block, and we expect to replicate this success with Big Brother. The format naturally lends itself to some really interesting integration concepts, and with the added involvement of social media, Big Brother is set to provide KFC and Holden with an engaging advertising vehicle.”

The partnership will see KFC leverage the next phase of the ‘So Good’ campaign across a number of Nine Entertainment Co. media outlets, including tailored Big Brother television creative running on the Nine Network, and digital content running across ninemsn and social media sites.

Nikki Lawson, Chief Marketing Officer for KFC Australia, commented, "KFC is thrilled to partner with Channel Nine this year to provide more moments within Big Brother to make consumers TV viewing ‘so good’. We look forward to directly engaging with audiences through some exciting multi-channel initiatives during this new series."

The all new Big Brother produced by Southern Star Entertainment will be hosted by Sonia Kruger and will premiere on the Nine Network, Monday August 13 at 7:00 pm.
