Cold Rock customer gets gold bar

The winner of the Unlock the Gold Rock competition was awarded a 24 carat gold bullion bar worth more than $10,000.

Salvation Army administration officer Karen Parsons won the gold bar after shopping at Shepparton Cold Rock Ice Creamery along Wyndham Street.

Customers who purchased a product received a coupon with a unique code which they then submitted to a special competition app on Cold Rock’s Facebook page. Parsons submitted two entries, with her second one bearing the winning code.

The single mother of two received the gold bullion during a presentation by Cold Rock managing director Stan Gordon and store owner Laura de Wys at Cold Rock Shepparton.

The Unlock the Gold Rock competition was held across Cold Rock’s 110-plus stores around Australia, with more than 17,000 entries received nationwide.
