
Check out what Donut King's unveiling for 'Amazeballs' launch
The brand debuts new donut game.
Donut King has recently added the new Amazeballs on their menu, which are donut balls filled with either choc orange or apple cinnamon.
As part of the new product’s launch, customers will receive a temporary tattoo which, when scanned with a QR code reader, will give them access to play an Augmented Reality (AR) donut game.
The game involves shooting an Amazeball from a slingshot at a donut and character targets to earn points, which customers can share via social media.
“Donut King is about having fun and treating yourself! Augmented Reality was the perfect fit to bring a quirky element of fun to the new Amazeballs product while also tapping into digital innovations to interact with customers,” said Brent Lupton, Retail Food Group’s Digital Innovations Marketing Manager.
The AR Amazeballs is the brainchild of RFG’s internal digital innovations team, which was then created by Sydney based digital agency, Gruden.
