Red Rooster's Hot Honey Crunch returns with an e-storybook

The e-book tells the fictional backstory of the menu item.

Red Rooster is bringing back its Hot Honey Crunch fried chicken.

To mark the return, the chain has released a downloadable e-storybook called “The Birds & The Bees: The Unofficial Story Of How Hot Honey Crunch Was Made.”

Written in the style of a children’s fairytale, it tells a fictional backstory for the menu item. The book is available on the Red Rooster Shop Merch site from 27 August.

On 28 August, in celebration of the 37th annual Red Nose Day, the company will donate $1 directly to Red Nose Australia for every Hot Honey Satisfryer Box ordered.
