McDonald’s floods market with free McPops
The deal is part of its Macca’s Year of Value promise.
McDonald’s announced that it will be giving away five million of its doughnut line for the summer.
Customers can get a free McPop with any Medium or Large McCafé drink. Flavours include chocolate, berry, and Biscoff.
The McPops is a bite-sized doughnut with fillings and dusted with sugar. It was first launched in 2018 in McCafé Spain and was introduced in Australia in 2024.
According to the fast food chain, the deal is part of its Macca’s Year of Value, with a 12-month price promise locking in favourites like the $6.95 McSmart Meal, Loose Change Menu, as well as ongoing deals and rewards available through MyMacca’s app.
Joe Chiczewski, CEO of McDonald’s Australia, announced in July last year that it would retain the prices of the McSmart Meal and the Loose Change menu for one whole year.
“With five million McPops up for grabs, this deal is a fun way we’re delivering on our Year of Value commitment – making sure every visit to Macca’s feels rewarding,” Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director of Menu and Brand for McDonald’s Australia said.
The promo is only available while supplies last.
