McDonald's Australia leans on digital marketing to increase sales and connectivity

An Instagram campaign, self-serve kiosks and the MyMaccas mobile app. Just a few of the ways where McDonald's Australia's is lately making its presence felt in the world of digital marketing, The Australian reports.

In the past two years, McDonald's Australia saw its digital media budget increase three-fold, and McDonald’s director of digital Mark Wheeler says they plan on increasing it further.

“We’ve got this vision to become the most connected brand in Australia,” Wheeler told The Australian.

One of their recent campaigns is Create your Taste, which allows patrons to create their own burger from 30 ingredients.
