KFC invites sceptics into kitchens for second Open Kitchen Day
Nearly 2800 people signed up to get a look inside the fast food chain’s kitchens across 220 of its stores nationwide.
Public sceptics were invited to get a firsthand view of how KFC prepared its food and were filmed for their reactions.
KFC Australia’s Chief Marketing and Development Officer Nikki Lawson said, “We know that there are a lot of misconceptions out there about our food. From concerns around the quality & freshness,– we’ve even heard claims that our food isn’t real chicken!”
“We set out to prove these sceptics wrong. Building on the success of last year’s Open Kitchen Day, this year we sought out our critics and welcomed them into our kitchens armed with their toughest questions! Many Aussies think that all our KFC cooks do is drop frozen chicken into a deep fryer – but as we proved, there’s a lot more to it than that."
