Eagle Boys: sales will triple for State of Origin game two clash
The brand has also introduced four limited time only pizzas for footy fans.
Outlets across Queensland and New South Wales are set for another huge night of pizza orders as fans settle in at home for the State of Origin Melbourne away game clash.
Jack McClane, Eagle Boys Regional Manager, said team members would be swapping their uniforms for football jerseys in a show of state pride – but it would be all hands on deck to ensure customers had piping hot pizza as part of their game celebrations.
“For those football fans who can’t make the journey south Eagle Boys will be well and truly prepared for another huge night of orders,” Mr McClane said.
“Customers should claim the best seat in front of the television and place their orders early.”
With game one in May exceeding the network’s expectations, Eagle Boys team members are preparing for a surge in takeaway orders as footy fans prepare for the State of Origin’s second instalment to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) tomorrow night.
The Queensland – New South Wales tournament sees more orders for the pizza brand than any other occasion with tomorrow’s number of pizzas to be baked, set to be triple what is made any other Wednesday night.
To celebrate the football season, including the highly anticipated State of Origin series, Eagle Boys has introduced the four limited-time only family- sized 15-inch pizzas including Tropical Mega Meatlovers, Ultimate Mega Meatlovers, Deluxe Mega Meatlovers and Hot Chick Mega Meatlovers.
Over the 11-week period, customers will be able to purchase from the new range of Mega Meatlovers pizzas for $9.95 each pick up or purchase a Footy Feast with the added bonus of two colour changing cups.
