Domino’s takes customers home for Mother’s Day
The pizza chain is offering a chance for its customers to see their mums on Mother’s Day.
Domino’s CEO and Managing Director Don Meij said he was looking forward to seeing the reactions of families that live apart being brought together.
“Pizza is a social food that brings people together and Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity to do just that and celebrate family at the same time,” Mr Meij said.
“Living away from your hometown can be difficult as you’re away from the people you love, so we wanted to give families the opportunity to be together again on this special day. The best part is that it will be a complete surprise for mum when their son or daughter shows up unannounced in a Domino’s delivery car with hot pizza and flowers.“
“What better way to celebrate mother’s day – than with bringing home family and taking care of dinner!,” he said.
Applications can be done online by letting Domino’s know in 25 words or less what it would mean to get delivered home to Mum for Mother’s Day.
The winner will receive a digital camera to capture their journey home to mum, as well as a pizza party and bunch of flowers to give to their mum.
The “Delivery Me Home to Mum on Mother’s Day‟ competition will run until Thursday 30 April 2015 and the winner will be announced on Monday, 4 May 2015 on the Domino’s Pizza Facebook page.
