The Coffee Club takes home a Golden Bean award

The coffee brand won the Best Overall Chain/Large Franchise award.

The Coffee Club, in partnership with Black Bag Roasters, has been named the Best Overall Chain/Large Franchise for their coffee blends at the Golden Bean World Series 2022, the largest and most prestigious global coffee-roasting competition. The competition took place in Kona, Hawaii over the weekend.

“To have our sustainably sourced Signature Blend recognized as the best in the world by the Golden Bean Awards is a huge honour. We are so proud to be serving up 500,000 coffees of our delicious Melbourne-roasted blend each week," said Nick Bryden, CEO of The Coffee Club.

The Coffee Club and Black Bag Roasters were propelled into the World Series after sweeping up 5 medals in the Australasian round, which had over 1,200 entries.

The international cafe chain reigned supreme after three days of judging on their three best filter, espresso, and milk-based coffee blends by the best and most experienced roasting experts across the globe.

Golden Bean is the World's Largest Coffee Roasting Competition and attracts the best of the best in the coffee roasting industry. The competition has been running now for eighteen years in Australia and is in its eighth year in North America.
