Statement from Jonathon Keenan and Peter Krejci of BRI Ferrier:
Bondi Pizza Group - Voluntary Administration
We, Jonathon Keenan and Peter Krejci of BRI Ferrier, were appointed Voluntary Administrators of various entities in the Bondi Pizza Group on 28 February 2024.
Currently the Bondi Pizza Group operates restaurants in Macquarie, Parramatta and Eastgardens (NSW) and has approximately 120 permanent staff. Our intention is for the business to continue to trade as usual during the Administration, as we explore restructuring options, including via sale and/or recapitalisation. We are working closely with the Director and existing management, as we seek a positive outcome for the stakeholders.
A sale of business campaign has commenced, seeking offers by 19 March 2024. Interested parties should contact the Administrators’ office.
During our appointment, we will conduct investigations into the Companies’ affairs and its background. Our preliminary observations indicate that trading restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic and significant increases in operating costs, have materially impacted the financial position. Through the Administration process, we will look to resolve those historical financial issues, and preserve a core viable business.
Jonathon Keenan
Principal, BRI Ferrier
