McDonald's unveils new concept store in Hong Kong

McDonald’s Admiralty Centre in Hong Kong re-opened as the fast food giant's first Next Concept Restaurant in the world.

The exclusive launch of the "McDonald’s Next" will feature the debut of a brand new menu, a combination of deli inspired options of the main restaurant, Create Your Taste (CYT) and McCafé.

The brand extended the Create Your Taste concept to the McDonald’s Next CYT Salad. Nineteen ingredients are available for selection in CYT Salads, including two choices of salad base greens, 2 kinds of cheese, 3 flavors of sauces and other ingredients to choose from. Customers can also select Grilled Chicken, Crayfish egg mayo and Quinoa Cous Cous Mix to go with the salad.

McDonald's Next also unveiled the Mixed Berries Sundae Waffle, McCafé Premium House Blend of coffee grind, and the first packaged McCafé Premium Coffee Beans.

The Mixed Berries Sundae Waffle is made to a traditional Belgian recipe. With a delicious caramelized flavor, crispy outside and tender inside texture, the waffle couples a mixed berry sauce (made with blueberry, raspberry and blackberry) topped with McDonald’s classic Sundae. The McCafé Premium House Blend is a mix of quality beans from a number of coffee-growing regions. Using a blend of Ethiopian Limu, Ethiopian Sidamo, Sumatran Mandheling and Guatemalan Huehuetenango, the new McCafé Premium House Blend is made from 100% Arabica beans with a medium roast, delivering a heavy-bodied coffee with fragrances of lemon, orange and citrus peel, and flavor notes of dark chocolate and berries.

McDonald’s Next also presents for the first time, three packaged single origin McCafé Premium Coffee Beans for sale.

With the great response to the introduction CYT table service, McDonald’s has extended this service to all customers of McDonald’s Next after 6pm, every night.
