Gelatissimo bags 9 industry awards

Australian gelato franchise, Gelatissimo, recently won several recognitions at the 2013 Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) NSW product competition awards.
Four gold awards were awarded to the brand for their Rum & Raisin, Crème Caramel, Ristretto, and Nutella flavours. Their Choc Mint, Macadamia and Caramel, Vanilla flavours, and the brand’s signature Chocolate Coated Bambino Cones earned silver awards as well.
In addition, Gelatisimo’s Crème Caramel flavour was highlighted, receiving one of the top awards, as “Champion Frozen Dairy Confection.”

“And those products are perfectly highlighted because the freshness of our gelato is guaranteed, as we make it in-store daily,” said Domenico Lopresti, Joint CEO of Gelatissimo.
To strengthen the brand’s commitment to producing new and exciting flavours, Italian Master Gelato Artisan, Anna Temellini, was asked by the company to move to Australia to help establish the Accademia Del Gelato and become the Product Training and Development Manager for Gelatissimo.
