Cold Rock to shell out $10,000 to local charity groups

It will be launched this month.

Cold Rock Ice Creamery, owned by Franchise Food Company, will be launching their “Gives Back” campaign, which aims to lend a hand to several local community groups by donating a total amount of $10,000 to various causes and initiatives in the coming months.

The brand will be offering four opportunities for charities and local groups to receive a donation of $2,500.

Local community groups must submit their application via the “Gives Back” Facebook Application, stating why their group needs help.

“Cold Rock is all about giving people a reason to smile. The campaign is for anyone and everyone who’s working hard to make a difference in their community; whether you’re supporting a local sporting team, raising money for serious illnesses or fighting to save a historic landmark, we want to hear from you so we can help you along the way,” said Stan Gordon, CEO of Cold Rock Ice Creamery.
