Domino’s is hiring 2,000 workers in a bid to boost its delivery services during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The pizza chain specifically encouraged persons in the tourism, events and hospitality industries who may have recently lost jobs due to the crisis to apply.

Interested individuals are told to submit an expression of interest via the Domino’s Jobs
website to ensure stores are kept clear of contact. A team will be reviewing and assessing these applications daily.

Earlier, the pizza chain introduced contactless pick-up and delivery.

“We need even more people to safely prepare and deliver food to our communities and those on the front line during this challenging time,” Domino’s Australia and New Zealand CEO Nick Knight said in a media release.
