The Cheesecake Shop offers vaccination bonus for employees

The chain is urging staff to “act immediately”, citing the interval between doses.

The Cheesecake Shop is offering an incentive for employees who will get fully vaccinated against COVID-19, it said on its website official LinkedIn page.

Individuals eligible for the bonus are those currently employed by the chain as of 29 July and will remain employed by 24 December.

Employees under that classification are told to provide a copy of their COVID-19 Digital Certificate (or an equivalent document from New Zealand), indicating they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 on or before 15 December 2021.

Workers’ COVID-19 Digital Certificate will be strictly confidential, only used for verification of their COVID-19 vaccination status by the dessert franchise's human resources staff, it added.

“The success of every business and the employment on which we all rely, depends upon a fully functioning open society, free from continuing lockdowns,” the chain said.
