RFG franchising stories set to hit TV screens in October
The multi-brand retail food franchisor Retail Food Group announced a partnership with The Franchise Show, the latest business program to launch nationwide on the Seven Network, which will see real life stories from its franchise partners told on the silver screen.
The weekly half-hour program, hosted by Effie Zahos, editor of Money Magazine, will focus on the positives, the pitfalls and the personalities of franchising, profiling those at the forefront of Australia’s small business sector.
RFG CEO Gary Alford said that with eight major franchise brands and more than 1,500 franchise partners across the country, RFG is perfectly suited to partner with the program.
“RFG has been at the forefront of franchising in Australia for over 25 years, and we have built a strong network of franchise partners whose business is their livelihood,” said Alford.
“We are extremely proud of our operators, and every single one has their own unique story to tell about how they got into franchising and why it works for them. Running a small business isn’t for everyone, and it can be challenging, but the beauty of being a part of a franchise is the solid brand, proven systems and support network.”
The Franchise Show Executive Producer Paul Whitney confirmed that as part of the partnership, The Franchise Show has interviewed several of RFG’s franchise partners and will feature their personal journeys as part of the program.
“We’re pleased to have partnered with RFG to give our viewers insight into one of the most popular franchise formats – retail food, coffee and QSR,” said Whitney.
“As well as covering the food franchise sector, the program will explore a wide range of franchising industries, exposing issues and offering insights, while featuring information and tips from a select group of leaders, including business advisors, psychologists, finance experts and brand specialists, as well as experts from one of the sector’s authoritative groups, the National Retail Association.”
The Franchise Show series one will run for thirteen weeks, with the first episode scheduled to air on Sunday 2 October 2016 at 12pm on Channel Seven nationwide.
