Retail Food Group in search for new franchisees
There are opportunities in Moranbah, Emerald, Mackay in Queensland and Kalgoorlie, South Hedland, Karratha, Newman, Carnarvon and Geraldton in Western Australia.
ASX-listed Retail Food Group said it will roll out its franchise stores in key regional resource-rich areas across Western Australia and Queensland to capitalise on the strong demand and robust local economies.
According to RFG, the first part of its “mining town” strategy is focussed on identifying potential franchisees for the earmarked stores.
RFG National Sales and Leasing Coordination Manager Faith Manning said regional areas connected with the booming resource sector had growing populations, a buoyant economy, and increasing demand for new food retail options.
“Our mining town strategy began when we opened some stores in regional Queensland and found there was overwhelming demand. These are areas with high disposable incomes but often limited retail options,” said Manning.
She added, “We’re now searching for potential franchisees – either those who already live in the area or would like to move to the area – to open stores. No previous business experience is required as all training is provided to equip our franchisees with all the necessary skills to make the business a success.”
RFG owns and operates the Donut King, Brumby’s Bakeries, Michel’s Patisserie, Esquires Coffee Houses, Big Dad’s Pies, and Pizza Capers franchise systems.
