Oporto, Nando’s popularity soars amongst Aussies

Should major chicken QSRs start worrying?

According to a report from Roy Morgan Research, more Aussies are heading towards Nando’s and Oporto to enjoy their chicken meal options.

Roy Morgan Research reported that from April- June 2008 and January- March 2013, Nando’s and Oporto’s visits from consumers increased.

In 2008, it was reported that 21% of Aussies visited Nando’s at least once, while this year, the number increased to 28%.

Oporto’s also enjoyed similar development with 14% of Aussies visiting their stores back in 2008, and now their numbers grew to 20%.
