Middle Eastern fast casual chain Azkadenya to launch in Australia

The restaurant operator is currently looking for master franchise partners.

Middle Eastern fast-casual restaurant chain Azkadenya is planning to launch in Australia, a report by Franchise Executives revealed.

The brand, which serves signature dishes in a retro atmosphere and highlights Middle Eastern culture, cuisine and hospitality, was founded by Omar Tabbaa, CEO of the Eat Restaurant Group and Zaid Abu-Soud.

Azkadenya is one of nine brands in the Eat Restaurant Group, which is part of the global organisation Endeavor, an investment network that supports entrepreneurs.

The entry into the Australian market comes after the founders, together with franchising consultancy DC Strategy, conducted extensive research in the market. The brand is currently looking for master franchise partners as well as individual franchisees in key markets across the country.
