Jimmy Grants set to expand to Sydney
The first Sydney store will open in Newtown in September.
Renowned chef George Calombaris and the MAdE Establishment group are set to open four Jimmy Grants stores as part of their expansion plan into Sydney. Following its debut in September, another store is set to open in Sydney Central Plaza in October.
In Melbourne, Jimmy Grants is expanding into the beachside suburb of St Kilda and Chadstone. Jimmy’s will also launch in Queensland in 2019 .
The Sydney stores will work with existing architecture, using repurposed or recycled raw materials. Each store will feature the blue neon synonymous with the Jimmy Grants brand and will engage local artists to create graffiti murals to each store.
Jimmy Grants menu features souvas packed with tender meat and chips, share plates with a choice of either lamb or chicken, fresh salads and grains, and a range of desserts.
George Calombaris said, “Having lived in Sydney for the first four years of MasterChef, I fell in love with the culture and the best harbour city in the world. I’m so excited to bring Jimmy Grants as our first brand to Sydney. ”
