GYG to open Morayfield restaurant; needs 400 new staff

The 52nd restaurant to open in Morayfield on 9 August.

Guzman Y Gomez is set to open its 52nd restaurant in Queensland on 9 August.

The new restaurant will open in Morayfield and will serve $5 burritos and bowls, as well as free coffee and a live Mariachi band.

This restaurant is the fourth but not final store opening in Queensland this year.

Local franchisee Luke Francey said, “We can't wait to bring Guzman y Gomez to Morayfield and introduce even more Moreton Bay locals to our delicious and Clean fresh Mexican food. Morayfield has been one of GYG’s most requested locations for a long time now and we’re confident this brand new drive-thru will be an absolute hit!”

GYG announced that it is also on a massive hiring spree in Queensland with over 400 roles to fill across the state.
