Guzman y Gomez aiming to open up to 60 drive-thru restaurants in next 24 months
The chain is also in the midst of a hiring spree.
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) is planning to open another 50 to 60 of its drive-thru restaurants in the next 24 months.
The Mexican fast food chain revealed this information as part of an announcement about its planned hiring spree.
GYG had opened three restaurants this year and hired 197 people last month. It aims to achieve at least 200 hires in March, consisting of full time, part-time and casual roles.

GYG reportedly postponed its IPO plans after the chain secured an $86.8 million investment from Magellan Financial Group in December. It opened 17 restaurants across the country in 2020.
