Domino's opens 1,400th store in Oz

New store located at Albert Street, Queensland features a new-look "Eat Street" model.

“It‟s a new model for [Domino's] and we are excited to have the first of its kind open in Brisbane. We've listened to our customers and implemented features such as indoor and outdoor dining areas where two people will be able sit down and enjoy a meal for less than $10, which is value that can‟t be beaten,” said Domino's Group CEO and Managing Director Don Meij.

The Albert Street store will also be one of the first stores to feature 100% electric pushbike deliveries.

“It's important for us to demonstrate our commitment to reducing carbon footprint and this will continue to be a big move for us in 2015 with more of our stores set to convert 100% to electronic push bikes,” he added.

“We know our growth and development starts in our communities and local neighbourhoods and that is why we are committed to changes that will ensure customers want more and we are happy to keep delivering,” Mr Meij said.
